Keeping your neighbors dogs at bay

Wow, sounds like a few people have issues with their neighbors. I wouldn’t advocate training your dog to poop on someones front steps. I will say this, it does take a lot of commitment. What worries me is maybe the person who does teach their dog to poop on someone front step should be committed.

As far a the leash law goes. I've a dog in our neighborhood that's allowed just to roam at their own free will. I don’t think I've ever seen her owner let her in the house. There is a bucket of food and water outside the door. I've called the Human Society and the police many times on the guy and nothing has been done. That poor dog. She's a husky and from what I hear they are ment to be an outside dog in all weather. I've even found out that the dog has been taken away from him and he just goes and pays the fine to get the dog back.

There has to be one of these in every neighborhood. It’s sad for us responsible pet owners. I've thought of picking up his dog’s poop and just putting it on his front step or sending him the bill from the lawn service.

Good luck to everyone that has a neighbor that just won’t listen and to the “Animal Cops” that have to deal with those people.
